Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a faster, safer and more advanced form of the regular computed tomography (CT) scan. Owing to the latest generation CS 8100 3D, we can make both 2D and 3D imaging. These more detailed, high-quality images allow for better diagnosis. CBCT has become increasingly important in the treatment planning in endodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery but most importantly for dental implants.
Intraoral X-ray system
All X-ray images of teeth are performed on the spot within seconds. The innovative Carestream system guarantees maximum safety. High frequency technology emits up to 30% lower radiation levels than regular X-rays. The sensor is connected to a computer, and the image is displayed on the screen in a matter of seconds!
An ordinary mirror does not always show the exact condition of teeth. Therefore, at the Dental Sense clinic, we use a Carestream high resolution intraoral camera. This allows us to see every aspect of your teeth and mouth with incredible detail. Thus, we can accurately diagnose the problem and show the effects of a treatment on the monitor located just above the dental chair. This is a great tool to help you become more informed about your dental health.
At our clinic, we use a dental microscope produced by Carl Zeiss, the most renowned brand in the world. Through magnification and lighting of a treated area, the microscope allows for maximum precision and effectiveness of microsurgical and endodontic procedures. Owing to this, we are able to save teeth which previously had to be removed. Additionally, the Carl Zeiss microscope allows for the perfect execution of aesthetic Artistic Fillings.
During a root canal treatment, we use a modern endo motor produced by the German company VDW. The device allows for an accurate measurement of the canal length during the treatment. Thanks to it, the dentist has full control during the procedure and the treatment is conducted with the greatest precision. Most importantly, the VDW system allows for shortening the time of the treatment by 40%.
With the Aqua Care Air Abrasion we are able to treat cavities without drilling, pain and noise. This innovative and absolutely painless technology involves using a stream of pressurised air with aluminium oxide particles. Additionally, air abrasion removes much less healthy tooth tissue. This makes it a more accurate and less invasive method.
The latest version of the computer-controlled anaesthesia ensures immediate and painless local anaesthesia. The technology controls flow rate and pressure of the anaesthesia during the injection. Therefore, patients don’t feel the moment when the anaesthetic is administered, but only its effects. The system may be used in treating both adults and children.
